Cebu Velez General Hospital
This is the main training hospital of CIM, with a bed capacity of 200 and a 30-bassinet nursery. Its clinical
and teaching departments include Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, OB-GYN and Opthalmology, ENT.
The hospital maintains an intensive care unit, a modern laboratory, radiology department, and rehabilitation department.
Declared as the first private Mother-Baby Friendly hospital in the country, it is currently practising rooming-in.
A minimum of 8000 patients are served by the hospital each year.
The Cebu Institute of Medicine is housed in a five-storey building at the corner of F. Ramos and V. Ranudo Sts.
Each
floor has three classrooms with 50-student capacity. Three
air-conditioned amphitheaters each having a 150 seating capacity are
likewise found in the building.
The ground floor accommodates the
CVGH outpatient department, dental office, and a conference room. A
well-lighted mezzanine serves as a study area for students.
